Some are hard to read, because of how poorly written is was.

Just read at least one guide so you have some idea what it is you're supposed to be doing.

That's quite the simplification but yes, talk to your tulpa whenever possible and try to set aside time for dedicated sessions where you're focusing solely on the tulpa.

But of course, try to read as many guides as possible to familiarize yourself with the different methods. None of them should be followed word for word, just pick out the things that you're comfortable with and adapt that into your own approach.

Tacio and Indigo were laissez-faire tulpas, we just talked to them and they developed entirely on their own with no personality forcing of any kind
